Day 26 – Critters

I’ve been making costumes for years. About 7 years now, I think. Here is one I’m working on, to sell (actually not a commission!). Taking a break to make something that doesn’t have an outline or rules placed on the design. I think this guy is a faun/dragon. He’ll be done in shades of blue, with hooves. I’m excited to see how he comes out in the end.
Also, today I picked up a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. Nifty 50. Great price and great shots for what it is. Best bang for buck ever! I’ve included a few shots taken with the lens today, below.

Or perhaps, nothing on the wing in this case (as this gryphon has no wings!).
One of my hobbies/extra jobby jobs is making costumes. This is one that has progressed slowly over time for a good long while, and should still be progressing for a while longer now.
